Because we are a 501(c)3 qualifying organization, when an Arizona resident makes a donation they receive a dollar-for-dollar tax credit through their Arizona tax return. You can get up to $470 for those filing as single or $938 for those filing as married/jointly.

Things to Know
- The Coalition is an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization (#20111).
- Donors may qualify for a dollar-for-dollar Charitable Tax Credit - up to $938 for couples filing jointly or $470 for individuals.
- If you want to claim a donation towards the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit, the donation must be made by an individual - not a business or other entity.
- Your donation must be financial donation. In-kind or item donations of any kind don’t qualify for the tax credit.
- To claim your credit, submit Arizona Form 321 when filing your taxes and receive a tax credit in the amount of your donation, up the maximum amounts described above.
- You do not need to make your Charitable Tax Credit donations prior to December 31 to claim a state tax credit on your taxes for that year.
- You are, however, required to list donations from different calendar years separately on Arizona Form 321. Charitable Tax Credit donations made between January 1 and the tax deadline of the current year, but intended to be used for your previous year taxes, must be listed on Part 1, section B of Arizona Form 321.
